Who would’ve thought wedding venues would become our family legacy?
When our family first acquired 163 acres in Latta, South Carolina, we just knew the land had a bright future ahead…as a Dollar General. The idea of creating a wedding venue caught us by surprise, but once it took hold, we were all-in. Inspired by Charleston's timeless elegance, Parker Pines was the first venue to open. As word spread and Parker Pines began to flourish, we noticed something intriguing: a growing number of couples in Myrtle Beach, Florence, and the surrounding areas were seeking something beyond the traditional white barn aesthetic.
That insight led to our next bold idea. This time around, we envisioned a black barn—an elegant, modern departure from the expected. By the time the barn was completed, HGTV was calling dark architecture “the next big thing,” and we knew we had created something special.
At Evergreen Alley, we’ve infused the classic southern barn with bold, innovative design to unveil a wedding venue that’s a true original. While it’s true that she’s the younger sister of Parker Pines, make no mistake—Evergreen Alley is no black sheep. She’s a complete showstopper in her own right, and we couldn’t be more proud to add her to our small but growing collection of family-run event spaces.

We’re grateful for the reputation we’ve built in the South Carolina wedding industry through our first venue, Parker Pines, and are thrilled to serve couples drawn to the unique offerings of Evergreen Alley. We’ve had our *literal* boots on the ground of this place from the beginning and spend our off-hours dreaming about future possibilities for the property. Equipped with day-one knowledge of each event space and years of wedding planning expertise through our sister company, Cheers & Champagne, we’re dedicated to delivering seamless, personalized experiences for every couple who says “I do” at Evergreen Alley.
